    Hi,
Read the article. Painstakingly written. But my doubt is, we already do all this, right? I mean I have been doing this since ages, even though not to recruit people but just to get an idea about certain people, I do take a peek into social networking sites and/or google. And they usually are not very helpful in yielding results about anyone especially those with common names.

    Cheers

    Hi TF,

There will always be people who may be doing things like these, and probably know much more than what is written here. But there also enough people who may not know much, or do not think about the same proactively. It is this audience that I would be catering to.

But thanks for your feedback - its very important to the readers too.

    Cheers…Ajay Jain

Hi Ajay, An interesting piece. Many of us tend to ignore these simple and useful tools available to us while hiring people for our teams. I have shared this with my HR team and the hiring team at Genpact as well. Vivaan, Genesis BM PR

    Hi Ajay and fellow readers,

My immediate impressions on this white paper :

    1. Background checks are mandatory to check and ensure the facts written by the candidate.

    2. The results of the background checks directly impacts the employer’s decision on a particular selection.

    3. It is a challenge that the employer has to be careful in selecting the respondents.

    A good work!

    With Regards,

    A.Aditya Ramesh

I happened to learn of ‘techgazing’ and the recent whitepaper you published a couple of weeks ago.
I saved it then and read through it this morning.
It was very insightful and this is my complimentary note about the same.
I look forward to reading more of you as i will be consciously following your writings from now on.

Iam a HR professional based in India having begun my career in recruitment a couple of years ago. Hence the inclination to read about BGCs and bytes of HR technology. I too am a creative writer; yet to have a blog of my own though:)
You could find some of my writings on Gautam Ghosh’s blog and Indian Recruiters Forum (IRF on Google Groups).

    Nice to have discovered you.
